LIGHTHOUSE SOCCER CLUB SPECIAL OLYMPICS PROGRAM

          Special Olympics is a year-round sports training and competition program designed for persons with intellectual disabilities, ages 8 and over, to improve fitness, meet new people, learn sports skills and experience the joy of winning through sports.

 

          Information on Special Olympics including athlete eligibility, coaching and volunteering, and mandatory medical forms for athletes is available at:

2008 Season

Season starts Saturday, August 23, 2008

Season ends Saturday, November 1, 2008

 

Practice time:  Saturdays, 9:00 - 10:30 a.m.

(no practice on August 30, 2008)

 

          All athletes must wear shin guards for practice and games.  Medical forms must be on file with Special Olympics Philadelphia office or the athlete can not practice or play.

 

          Information on tournaments and scrimmages to be posted at a later date.
